Jorge Eleazar Baritone
CURRENT AND FUTURE SEASONS
Jorge Eleazar sang in the first cast of the new production of Verdi’s Rigoletto by Philip Stoezl for the Bregenzer Festspiele 2019. He will be returning in Summer 2021 in the same role. In the season 2020/21 he will be singing the part of Colas in “Bastien et Bastienne” in Genoa in the revival of Davide Livermore’s production and Hormigón in the zarzuela El Gato Montés. Scheduled to debut the role of Ramiro in Ravel’s L’heure espagnole this was another cancellation in 2020.
He sang the role of Brander in Damiano Michieletto’s production of La Damnation de Faust and Baron Douphol in Sofia Coppola’s production of La Traviata at Les Arts, Valencia. He also went on tour to Muscat, Oman. This season he sung Taddeo in L’Italiana in Algeri, Dandini in La Cenerentola in Spain; Impresario in the zarzuela “El Duo de la Africana” in Oviedo.
